The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are actually open and will shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the subsequent requirements:

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the right Identity Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are studying or intend to research in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.

Learners website do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
